How to install presets in Photoshop ACR for Subscription Photoshop ACR up to version 20
FollowSTEP 1: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACR INSTALLED
Open any image in Photoshop and check under Filter for "Camera Raw Filter".
If you don't see the Camera Raw Filter, you may need to download and install the Adobe Camera Raw Plug-in. The free Camera Raw plug-in installer is located at Adobe.com. Alternatively, access this download via your Creative Cloud desktop app.
STEP 2: PREPARE FOR DOWNLOAD
BEFORE you download your files, check compatibility info on the product page!
Note: AI Toolkits will NOT work in older versions of Adobe Camera Raw. If you purchased AI presets and cannot update your software to the latest version on your computer, please reach out to support@theluxelens.com prior to downloading your files.
If you have not purchased an AI-only collection, you will proceed to download the XMP files from your Luxe Download link as a .zip file:
Unzip/Extract by right-clicking and selecting "Extract All" on Windows, or double click to unzip on Mac (Safari may auto-unzip safe files):
Click into the unzipped folder, and locate the folder containing the XMP presets:
Copy this folder, or leave it open to copy after you locate your Settings folder in the next step!
STEP 3: MANUALLY INSTALL THE PRESET FILES
Find the following location on your computer hard drive:
- Mac Users: Users>YOUR NAME>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Camera Raw> Settings
- Windows Users: Application Data>Adobe>Camera Raw>Settings OR C: Users-[user name]>AppData>Roaming>Adobe>Camera Raw>Settings
