Snow Effects Presets

Found in the Lighthouse Winter Wonderland & Luxe Let it Snow! collections.

Our snow effects tools, as presets, are small files that trigger certain settings or tools in Lightroom. In this case, the Local Adjustment brush. The local adjustment brush is the most powerful tool in Lightroom and thus was the best choice for our hand-painted snow effects.

However, the Local Adjustment Brush does need a lot of power to fully render detailed effects, and thus we recommend optimizing Lightroom, or working with Smart Previews for faster rendering! On older computers, on in Lightroom setups that haven't yet been optimized, these presets may take longer to fully render.

Fairies Special Effects Presets

Found in the Luxe Autumn Touch of Tweed collection.

Our Fairies special effects presets were designed to add delight and whimsy to your images, and again rely on a powerful tool in Lightroom that may take some time to render when competing with other processes. 

Presets that heavily rely on the radial filter may take longer to load – particularly on older computers.

Here are some tips to reduce loading time:

1. Make sure other background programs like PowerPoint or Photoshop are closed.
2. Delete temporary and downloaded files because these can take up extra space.
3. Scan for malware and viruses.
4. Optimize Lightroom. 
5. Use Smart Previews
